Is it real
Will my mother-in-law be able to tell?
No. She'd need a lab instrument that reads how a stone grew, and even that tells her where it came from, not how good it is. What she'll notice, like anyone, is the cut and the setting.

No. She'd need a lab instrument that reads how a stone grew, and even that tells her where it came from, not how good it is. What she'll notice, like anyone, is the cut and the setting.
Is it real
Yes. A well-cut stone photographs beautifully and a poorly cut one looks flat, whatever it's made of. The camera sees the cut.
Is it real
Carbon in a cubic crystal: 10 on the Mohs scale, refractive index 2.42. A lab-grown diamond matches on every one of those and is graded by the same laboratories on the same 4Cs. The only difference is where it grew.
Is it real
All three are independent labs that grade diamonds on the same 4Cs. Our diamonds come with an SGL report as standard, and we can arrange IGI if you prefer. GIA is the oldest name and slightly stricter on colour at the very top end. Whichever lab it is, read the report rather than the logo.
Money
Diamonds, mined or lab-grown, aren't bought back at what you paid, by anyone. What we offer instead is lifetime exchange*: on any gold piece, we credit 100% of the gold's current value and 90% of the diamond's towards something new. We'd still rather you chose a piece for how often you'll wear it.
Money
We set the price once, and on our solitaires we show what the stone, the gold and the making each cost. To compare properly, go like for like: carat, cut grade, gold weight and karat.
Money
By card, UPI or net banking at checkout. We don't offer EMI.
Wearing it
You can, but soap leaves a film under the stone and it stops sparkling within a week or two. Take rings off for soap, lotion and the gym. Chains and studs are fine.
Wearing it
It is the other way round. 9k is harder than 18k because there is less gold in it, so it scratches less and survives knocks better. 18k holds its colour better and looks warmer. Both last a lifetime.
Wearing it
Yes, eventually. White gold is yellow gold under a layer of rhodium, and that layer wears thin after twelve to twenty-four months of daily wear. Replating takes a day, and the labour is usually free for as long as you own the piece.
Buying
No. It's a lot of what we sell. Nobody here will ask who it's for.
Buying
Make a list and share the link. It carries the size and finish you want, so nothing has to be guessed, and it reads as a list rather than a request.
Care
Send it back. On gold pieces, we do prong repairs, resizing, replating and re-polishing for as long as you own the piece. The labour is usually free and materials are charged.
Money
Yes, for gold pieces, for as long as you own them*. We credit 100% of the gold's current value and 90% of the diamond's towards another Stella piece. Making charges aren't credited, and silver isn't included.
Buying
Not yet. We ship within India only. Message us if you're abroad and we'll tell you when that changes.
