- Certificate number — A unique identifier. Keep this for your records.
- Diamond origin — Should clearly state "laboratory grown" or "lab-grown." This confirms transparency about what you purchased.
- Diamond weight — The carat weight of the diamond(s). Confirm this matches what was communicated at purchase.
- Colour and clarity grade — These are the 4C grades assigned by the laboratory.
- Jewellery gross weight — The total weight of the finished piece including the metal setting.
- Gold purity — Expressed as 14Kt, 18Kt, or 9Kt depending on the piece. This should match the description.
- Metal stamp — A hallmark stamped on the piece itself (visible on the inside of a ring, the clasp of a bracelet, etc.) confirming the metal purity.
- BIS hallmark — India's Bureau of Indian Standards hallmark on all gold jewellery. This is one of the strongest guarantees of gold quality available to Indian buyers.
- QR code — A scannable code that links to the digital verification of the certificate.
